The stick absorbs the fragrance, then it travels up the stick to reach the tip where the fragrance evaporates upon contact with the air (capillarity principle, hence often called capillary). If you wish to increase the fragrance intensity, we recommend regularly flipping the sticks. Usage tips: Place the sticks in the bottle, which will absorb the fragranced liquid through capillarity and pleasantly diffuse it into the atmosphere. Regularly flip the reed sticks to allow the fragrance to rise up again through capillarity. This will enhance diffusion effectiveness. Avoid placing the diffuser near a heat source (fireplace, radiator, air conditioning, window) to prevent the fragrance from evaporating too quickly. You can use a diffuser with a new fragrance by thoroughly rinsing it with clear water and changing the sticks.
